Ingredients
- 2 heads of lettuce, washed and torn into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup of frozen green peas
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of vegetable broth
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

Add the torn lettuce and frozen peas to the skillet, and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the lettuce begins to wilt.

Pour in the vegetable broth and soy sauce, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir well to combine.

Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes, or until the peas are tender.

Serve the braised lettuce and peas hot, as a side dish or over steamed rice.
