How To Make Quick and Easy Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients
- 4 bell peppers (any color)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheese (such as cheddar or mozzarella)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink.

Drain any excess fat from the skillet.

Stir in the cooked rice, tomato sauce, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper.

Spoon the filling into the bell peppers and place them in a baking dish.

Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the peppers.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
