Ingredients
- 2 cups porridge oats
- 1 cup bread flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the porridge oats, bread flour, salt, and baking powder.

In a separate bowl, mix together the honey (or maple syrup), warm water, and vegetable oil.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased loaf pan and cover with a damp cloth. Let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
