- 1 cup buckwheat groats
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups almond milk
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp poppy seeds
Instructions

Rinse the buckwheat groats under cold water.

In a saucepan, bring the water and almond milk to a boil.

Add the rinsed buckwheat groats, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 20 minutes or until tender.

Stir in the maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.

Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes.

Serve the porridge in bowls and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
