Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup maple syrup for serving
- Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch square baking dish.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, sugar, maple syrup, milk, and vanilla extract. Stir well to combine.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.

Fold in the chopped pecans.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.

Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
