How To Make Pan-fried mozzarella parcels

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of mozzarella cheese
  • 8 wonton wrappers
  • 1/4 cup of marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup of bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Place a slice of mozzarella cheese onto each wonton wrapper and top with a spoonful of marinara sauce.

  2. Fold the corners of the wonton wrapper over the cheese and sauce to form a parcel. Secure the edges by brushing with the beaten egg and pressing firmly.

  3. Roll the parcels in the bread crumbs, ensuring they are fully coated.

  4. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the mozzarella parcels for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.

  5. Remove from the pan and drain on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.

  6. Serve hot with additional marinara sauce for dipping.
