How To Make Monster Cupcakes

Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- Green food coloring
- Decorations (candy eyes, gummy worms, etc.)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In a separate bowl, mix together the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Fold in the mini chocolate chips. Add green food coloring until you achieve the desired monster color.

Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 of the way full.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cupcakes to cool completely before decorating.

Once cooled, decorate the cupcakes to resemble monsters using candy eyes, gummy worms, and any other desired decorations.
