  1. Preheat a grill to medium-high heat.

  2. Brush the radicchio quarters with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

  3. Grill the radicchio for about 5-7 minutes per side, until softened and lightly charred.

  4. Remove the radicchio from the grill and top each quarter with a slice of fontina cheese.

  5. Place the radicchio back on the grill for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  6. Remove from the grill and serve immediately.
