Ingredients
- 1 cup lentils, cooked
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 tsp thyme, dried
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 4 slices French baguette, toasted
- Pickles, for serving
Instructions

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the cooked lentils to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for another 5 minutes, until heated through.

Transfer the lentil mixture to a food processor. Add the soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, thyme, black pepper, and salt. Process until smooth and creamy.

Transfer the faux gras to a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors develop.

Serve the faux gras with toasted baguette slices and pickles on the side.
