Ingredients

  • 1 cup cranberries
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine cranberries, red wine, sugar, orange juice, orange zest, and cinnamon stick.

  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low.

  3. Simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens.

  4. Remove the cinnamon stick from the sauce.

  5. Allow the sauce to cool before serving.
