Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and diced
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 16 small marshmallows
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add the cold diced butter to the dry ingredients. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter into the mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

Add the milk and vanilla extract to the mixture and mix until a dough forms.

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8 inch thickness.

Cut the dough into 4-inch circles using a round cookie cutter or a glass.

Place a marshmallow in the center of each circle of dough.

Fold the dough over the marshmallow, pressing the edges together to seal.

Place the filled circles on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are firm.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
