How To Make Cheesy Stuffed Mushrooms on Toast

Ingredients
- 16 button mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 slices of bread
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Remove the stems from the mushrooms and finely chop them.

In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped mushroom stems and garlic, and cook until softened.

In a bowl, combine the cooked mushroom stems, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, and pepper.

Spoon the filling into the mushroom caps, then place them on a baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the cheese is melted and golden.

While the mushrooms are baking, toast the bread slices until golden and crispy.

Place the cheesy stuffed mushrooms on top of the toast and serve hot.
