How To Make Carrot Purée

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup of heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the sliced carrots and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. Drain the carrots and transfer them to a food processor or blender.

  3. Add butter and heavy cream to the carrots and blend until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Serve the carrot puree warm as a side dish or use it as a base for other dishes.
