- 200g dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp dark rum
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a square baking dish.

In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate and butter together. Set aside to cool slightly.

In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, dark rum, vanilla extract, and salt.

Gradually pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, whisking constantly until well combined.

Sift in the flour and gently fold it into the batter until just incorporated.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30 minutes or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly soft.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely in the baking dish.

Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar and cut into squares before serving.

Serve chilled with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
