- 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper, to taste

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the potatoes and cook until tender.

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the butter, milk, and Dijon mustard.

Mash the potatoes with a potato masher until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
