How To Make Vegan Mushroom Alfredo Pasta Recipe
Creamy vegan Alfredo sauce combined with juicy mushrooms and al dente pasta.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 12 oz of linguine
- 2 cups of sliced mushrooms
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
- 1/4 cup of chopped onion
- 3 cloves of minced garlic
- 1 cup of vegetable broth
- 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4 cup of nutritional yeast
- 2 tbsp of cornstarch
- 1 tsp of dried basil
- 1/2 tsp of salt
Instructions

Cook pasta according to package instructions.

In a pan, sauté mushrooms with olive oil over medium heat and set aside.

In the same pan, cook onion and garlic until fragrant.

Mix vegetable broth, almond milk, nutritional yeast, cornstarch, basil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.

Pour the mixture into the pan and stir until thickened.

Add mushrooms back to the pan and simmer for 3-5 minutes.

Serve the Alfredo sauce with cooked pasta.
