How To Make Vegan Almond Joy Bars
A rich and chocolatey dessert bar with coconut and almonds that is vegan and gluten-free.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions

In a saucepan, melt coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract over medium heat.

Add shredded coconut and almond flour to the saucepan and stir until well combined.

Pour the mixture into a 9×9 inch pan lined with parchment paper.

Evenly spread sliced almonds on top of the mixture.

Melt semisweet chocolate chips in the microwave or using a double boiler and drizzle over the almond layer.

Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or until firm.
