How To Make Vegan Nut-Free Cheese Recipe
Dairy-free cheese alternative without nuts.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 cups of peeled and diced potatoes
- 1/2 cup of peeled and diced carrots
- 1/2 cup of chopped onion
- 1/4 cup of sunflower oil
- 1/4 cup of nutritional yeast
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp of smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp of turmeric
- 1/4 tsp of white wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup of unsweetened plain soy milk
- 1 tbsp of agar agar flakes
Instructions

Boil the potatoes and carrots for 15 minutes until fork-tender.

Sauté the onion until translucent.

Add all ingredients including potatoes and carrots to a blender. Blend until smooth.

Pour mixture into a saucepan and heat over medium heat.

Add agar agar flakes and whisk until combined. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and stir continuously for 5 minutes until thickened.

Pour the mixture into a small dish and smooth out the top.

Refrigerate for 1 hour until firm.
