How To Make Vegan Macadamia Brie Cheese Recipe
A creamy vegan brie cheese made with raw macadamia nuts and cultured with probiotics.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 cups raw macadamia nuts, soaked overnight
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Probiotics (1/2 tsp powder or opened capsules)
Instructions

Drain and rinse macadamia nuts and add them to a blender or food processor.

Add water, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and black pepper and blend until smooth.

Transfer the mixture to a cheesecloth-lined colander and let it drain for 1-2 hours.

Transfer the drained cheese to a bowl and add the probiotics. Mix well.

Transfer the cheese to a small dish, cover with cheesecloth, and let it ferment for 24-48 hours at room temperature.

Once the cheese has fermented, remove the cheesecloth and transfer the cheese to a serving dish.

Serve with crackers or sliced fruit.
