How To Make Vanilla Bean Pound Cake Recipe
A classic pound cake with the added richness of vanilla beans.

Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 vanilla bean, split and scraped
- ⅓ cup milk
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Add the vanilla bean seeds and beat until well combined.

Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients in three batches, alternating with the milk and ending with the dry ingredients.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.

Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
