A flavorful twist on the classic Italian dish, this Turkey Cacciatore is made with tender turkey meat and a rich tomato sauce. Perfect for a family dinner!

Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs turkey breast, cut into chunks
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the turkey chunks and cook until browned on all sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the diced onion, sliced bell peppers, and minced garlic. Cook until the vegetables are softened.

Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, dried basil, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper.

Return the turkey chunks to the skillet and simmer on low heat for 30 minutes, until the turkey is cooked through and the flavors are well combined.
