How To Make Triple Ginger & Spice Cake
A moist and flavorful ginger cake with a triple dose of ginger and warm spices.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup fresh ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup crystallized ginger, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.

In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter, molasses, grated ginger, crystallized ginger, milk, baking soda, and salt.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
