Ingredients
- 2 cups of white rice
- 4 cups of water
- 1 tsp of salt
Instructions

Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

In a pot, bring the water to a boil.

Add the rinsed rice and salt to the boiling water.

Stir, cover the pot, and reduce the heat to low.

Allow the rice to simmer for 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, remove the pot from heat and let it sit, covered, for an additional 5 minutes.

Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
