- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup milk
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the molasses and milk to the butter mixture and mix well.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
