Sizzling hot and savory chicken fajitas served with peppers and onions.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp. fajita seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Flour tortillas, for serving
- Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, guacamole
Instructions

In a large bowl, toss chicken strips with fajita seasoning until well coated.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the peppers and onions and cook for 5-7 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

Return chicken to the skillet and stir until vegetables and chicken are combined and heated through.

Serve with flour tortillas and optional toppings.
