How To Make Parsnip & Maple Syrup Cake
A delicious and moist parsnip cake infused with the sweetness of maple syrup. Perfect for a cozy dessert or afternoon treat.

Ingredients
- 2 cups grated parsnips
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a square baking dish.

In a mixing bowl, combine the grated parsnips, flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, vegetable oil, and eggs until well combined.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the chopped walnuts, if desired.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.

Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
