How To Make Onion and Garlic Croutons Recipe

A crunchy addition to your favorite soup or salad, these garlicky croutons take just a few minutes to make.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of cubed bread (preferably day-old or stale)
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp of onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.

  3. Add cubed bread to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.

  4. Spread bread cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until croutons are golden brown and crispy.

  6. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
