How To Make Mini Gingerbread Houses
A festive and adorable treat, these mini gingerbread houses are perfect for the holiday season!

Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup hot water
Instructions

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.

In a separate large bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the molasses.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the hot water. Mix until well combined.

Divide the dough into 4 equal portions. Roll out each portion on a lightly floured surface until about 1/4 inch thick.

Use mini gingerbread house templates or cut out house shapes by hand. Transfer the shapes to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown.

Allow the gingerbread houses to cool completely before assembling and decorating with icing and candies.
