Ingredients
- 500g boneless chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 2 green chilies, slit lengthwise (optional)
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 cup coconut milk
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions

Heat oil in a pan and add onions. Fry until golden brown.

Add ginger, garlic, and green chilies. Saute for a minute.

Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and garam masala. Cook for a minute until fragrant.

Add chicken pieces and cook until they turn white.

Pour in coconut milk and season with salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with steamed rice or naan.
