Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp of cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 200°F (95°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a clean bowl, beat the egg whites with an electric mixer until frothy.

Add the cream of tartar and continue to beat until soft peaks form.

Gradually add the sugar, a tablespoon at a time, while continuing to beat.

Beat until stiff peaks form and the meringue is glossy.

Fold in the vanilla extract.

Transfer the meringue to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.

Pipe small kisses onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about an inch apart.

Bake for 90 minutes, or until the meringues are dry and crisp.

Turn off the oven and let the meringues cool completely before removing from the baking sheet.
