- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a large pot of boiling water, blanch the green beans for 2-3 minutes, until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced almonds and toast until golden brown, stirring frequently.

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

Add the blanched green beans to the skillet, tossing to coat in the butter and almond mixture.
