How To Make Cabbage Burgers

Ingredients
- 4 cabbage leaves
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 4 slices of cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- Optional toppings: tomato, lettuce, pickles
Instructions

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the cabbage leaves and cook for 2-3 minutes, until softened. Drain and set aside.

In a bowl, combine the ground beef, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Take one cabbage leaf and place a scoop of the ground beef mixture in the center. Fold the sides of the cabbage leaf over the filling, forming a burger shape. Repeat with the remaining cabbage leaves and ground beef mixture.

Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the cabbage burgers for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through.

Optional: add a slice of cheese on top of each cabbage burger during the last minute of cooking.

Toast the hamburger buns and assemble the burgers with desired toppings.
