How To Make Homemade Hummus

A creamy and flavorful dip made from chickpeas, tahini, and olive oil. Perfect for snacking or entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • salt to taste
  • fresh parsley for garnish
  • pita bread or veggies for serving

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, blend chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, cumin, and salt until smooth and creamy.

  2. If needed, add a splash of water to achieve desired consistency.

  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

  4. Transfer hummus to a serving dish and drizzle with olive oil.

  5. Garnish with fresh parsley.

  6. Serve with pita bread or veggies.
