How To Make Healthy Pancakes
These healthy pancakes are light, fluffy, and full of nutritious ingredients.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup oat flour
- 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Cooking spray or butter, for greasing
Instructions

In a large bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, oat flour, ground flaxseed, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In a separate bowl, combine the almond milk, mashed bananas, eggs, honey, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with cooking spray or butter.

Scoop 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until bubbles form on the surface.

Flip the pancake and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown. Repeat with the remaining batter.

Serve the pancakes warm with your favorite toppings such as fresh fruit, yogurt, or maple syrup.
