Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 4 slices ham
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Butter or oil for cooking
Instructions

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.

In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and melted butter.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of butter or oil.

Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet and spread it into a circle.

Place a slice of ham and a sprinkle of shredded cheese on top of the pancake.

Cook for 2-3 minutes until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Repeat with the remaining batter, ham, and cheese.
