How To Make Grilled Lobster Tails with Lemon & Herb Butter
Juicy lobster tails grilled to perfection, topped with a zesty lemon and herb butter sauce.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 lobster tails
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon fresh chopped thyme
- salt and pepper, to taste
- lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
-
Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
-
Use kitchen shears to cut through the top shell of the lobster tails, lengthwise. Carefully loosen the meat from the shell, keeping it attached at the base.
-
In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper.
-
Brush the lobster tails with the butter mixture, making sure to coat the meat well.
-
Place the lobster tails on the grill, shell side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes.
-
Flip the lobster tails over and continue to cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and cooked through.
-
Remove the lobster tails from the grill and brush with any remaining butter mixture.
-
Serve the grilled lobster tails with lemon wedges and enjoy!
