How To Make Green Burgers
These green burgers are a tasty and nutritious option for vegetarians. Packed with fresh greens and flavorful seasonings, they’re a healthy twist on a classic favorite.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 cups of baby spinach
- 1 cup of frozen peas, thawed
- 1/2 cup of chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup of finely chopped red onion
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp of ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1/4 tsp of black pepper
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 4 burger buns
- Toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, onion, etc.)
Instructions

In a food processor, combine the spinach, peas, cilantro, red onion, garlic, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Pulse until well blended but still slightly chunky.

Transfer the mixture to a large bowl and add the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and eggs. Mix well to combine.

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.

Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through.
