How To Make Goat’s Cheese & Thyme Stuffed Chicken
Tender chicken breasts filled with creamy goat’s cheese and fragrant thyme, a mouthwatering combination.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 ounces goat’s cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
-
Make a pocket in each chicken breast by slicing horizontally through the middle, being careful not to cut all the way through.
-
In a small bowl, mix the goat’s cheese and thyme together.
-
Stuff each chicken breast with the goat’s cheese and thyme mixture, then season with salt and pepper.
-
Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
-
Add the stuffed chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
-
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
-
Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
