How To Make Easy Peri-Peri Roast Chicken
A flavorful and spicy roast chicken dish with a peri-peri marinade.

Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken (about 4 pounds)
- 4 tablespoons peri-peri sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a small bowl, combine peri-peri sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, paprika, dried oregano, and garlic powder. Mix well.

Place the chicken in a roasting pan. Rub the peri-peri marinade all over the chicken, making sure to get under the skin.

Roast the chicken in the preheated oven for 1 hour 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) when tested with a meat thermometer.

Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Slice the chicken and serve it with your favorite sides.
