How To Make Easy Crêpes Recipe
These crêpes are simple yet delicious, perfect for a quick breakfast or dessert.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Cooking spray or additional butter, for greasing the pan
Instructions
-
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.
-
Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the milk, eggs, and melted butter.
-
Whisk until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
-
Heat a non-stick skillet or crêpe pan over medium heat. Lightly coat the pan with cooking spray or butter.
-
Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the center of the pan, then quickly tilt and rotate the pan to spread the batter into a thin, even layer.
-
Cook the crêpe for about 2 minutes, until the edges start to lift away from the pan and the bottom is golden brown.
-
Flip the crêpe using a spatula or by carefully lifting the edges with your fingers. Cook for another 1-2 minutes on the second side.
-
Transfer the cooked crêpe to a plate and cover to keep warm. Repeat with the remaining batter, greasing the pan as needed.
-
Serve the crêpes warm with your favorite fillings and toppings, such as Nutella, fresh berries, whipped cream, or maple syrup.
