How To Make Del Taco’s Epic Cali Steak and Guac Burrito
A mouthwatering combination of juicy steak, freshly made guacamole, and crispy fries, all wrapped up in a warm tortilla.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper
- 2 avocados
- 1 lime
- 1 small red onion
- 1 small jalapeno
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 bag of frozen french fries
- 4 large flour tortillas
Instructions

Preheat oven and cook french fries according to package instructions.

Mix cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Season steak generously.

Grill steak on high heat for about 3-4 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

While steak is resting, make the guacamole. Mash avocados in a bowl and mix with lime juice, minced red onion, minced jalapeno, chopped cilantro, salt, and pepper.

To assemble the burritos, heat tortillas in the microwave for 10 seconds. Add a layer of french fries, sliced steak, and a generous dollop of guacamole. Roll tightly and serve.
