How To Make Crumbly Chicken & Mixed Vegetable Pie
A delicious and comforting pie filled with tender chicken and mixed vegetables, topped with a crumbly crust.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, sauté onion and garlic until softened. Add mixed vegetables and cook until heated through.

Sprinkle flour over vegetables and stir well. Gradually add chicken broth and milk, stirring constantly until thickened.

Add shredded chicken, thyme, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir until well combined.

Pour the chicken and vegetable mixture into a greased pie dish.

In a small bowl, mix together bread crumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the top of the pie.

Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.

Allow the pie to cool for a few minutes before serving.
