How To Make Creamy Chicken Stew
This comforting stew is loaded with tender chicken and vegetables in a creamy broth.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds of chicken breasts, diced
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 carrots, peeled and sliced
- 2 celery stalks, sliced
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary
- 4 cups of chicken broth
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned. Remove the chicken from the pot and set aside.

In the same pot, add the onion, garlic, carrots, and celery. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the dried thyme, dried rosemary, chicken broth, and cooked chicken back to the pot. Bring to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes.

Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for another 10 minutes.

Serve the creamy chicken stew hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
