How To Make Copycat Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls Recipe
A soft, fluffy and irresistible pastry loaded with cinnamon sugar filling and topped with cream cheese frosting.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1 tsp instant yeast
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, mix warm milk, yeast and granulated sugar. Add the egg and melted butter, mix well.
- Add 2 cups of flour and salt, mix until fully combined.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
- Place the dough in an oiled bowl and cover with a towel. Let it rise for 1 hour.
- Combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and spread softened butter on top. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly.
- Roll the dough into a log and cut into equal pieces.
- Grease a baking pan and place the rolls evenly in it. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F and bake for 25 minutes.
- While the rolls are baking, prepare the cream cheese frosting.
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread the frosting on top of the hot cinnamon rolls.
