How To Make Cinnabon Waffles Recipe

A mouth-watering twist to your classic waffles, infused with the sweet cinnamon flavors of Cinnabon.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat waffle iron.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and granulated sugar.

  3. In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.

  4. Combine the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.

  5. In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon together.

  6. Pour in 1/3 cup of waffle batter into the waffle iron, then sprinkle 1-2 tbsp of cinnamon sugar mixture on top.

  7. Close the waffle iron and cook until golden brown.

  8. When waffles are finished, brush melted butter on top of each one.

  9. Serve warm with extra cinnamon sugar mixture and syrup.
