Soft and chewy cookies with the flavor of a Cinnabon cinnamon roll.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.

  3. Add in the egg and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk, until fully combined and a dough forms.

  6. Scoop the dough into tablespoon-sized balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.

  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until lightly browned.

  8. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
