How To Make Chilli Chocolate & Black Bean Brownies
Delicious and indulgent brownies with a kick of chili and the added richness of black beans.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup black beans, cooked and mashed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chopped dark chocolate
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a square baking dish.

In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed black beans, melted butter, and sugar. Mix well.

Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the bowl and mix until combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, cinnamon, chili powder, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Stir in the chopped dark chocolate.

Pour the batter into the greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.

Allow the brownies to cool in the baking dish before cutting into squares.
