How To Make Caramel Apple Cinnamon Buns
Delicious and gooey cinnamon buns filled with caramel and fresh apples.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 cup peeled and diced apples
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or your fingers, until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Gradually add the milk and stir until a dough forms. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead a few times.

Roll the dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. Spread the caramel sauce evenly over the dough. Sprinkle with diced apples and cinnamon.

Starting from the long end, tightly roll up the dough. Slice into 1-inch thick rolls and place them in the greased baking dish.

Bake for 25 minutes, or until the buns are golden and cooked through.

Serve warm and drizzle with additional caramel sauce, if desired.
