How To Make Buttermilk Pancakes with Maple Apples & Pecans
Fluffy buttermilk pancakes served with sweet maple apples and crunchy pecans.

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 2 large apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
Instructions

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.

Ladle 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.

In a separate pan, heat the maple syrup over medium heat. Add the apple slices and cook until they are tender and the syrup has thickened slightly.

Serve the pancakes topped with the maple apples and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
