How To Make Beetroot Cake
A moist and flavorful cake made with fresh beetroot, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients
- 2 medium-sized beetroot, grated
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, and vegetable oil until well combined.

Add the grated beetroot and mix well.

In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the beetroot mixture, alternating with the buttermilk.

Stir in the vanilla extract.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes in the pan. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
